Blackleg Miner is the brainchild of C.J. Murphy. Formed with one goal in mind; to bring heavy, ear-shattering, hard rock to the Baltimore area. Filled out by Matt Higgins on lead guitar, Nando Corado on bass, and Tommy Azzinaro on drums, Blackleg Miner has a raunchy rock n' roll sound with professional polish. Their debut EP "Canary Down" is available for purchase and streaming on all major platforms.

Blackleg Miner plays original music that evokes the hard rock sound of the 70's and 80's. Loud kickass riffs, blazing guitar solos, huge drums and catchy lyrics make for an infectious sound you can't help but raise the horns and shout along! While largely an original act, Blackleg Miner also plays some of your favorite hard rock & roll covers -- so there is a tune for everyone in the crowd!

Blackleg Miner is a pro act ready to handle any gigs. We can perform sets from 30 minutes to 90 minutes and can provide a full backline for any sized venue. The band can bring a full drum kit and full stacks for stringed instruments.
